Trade Missions

China Trade Mission - Exporting Innovation October 17-22, 2016

After two to three decades of double-digit GDP growth, the economy in China is slowing down. It is in this slow-down where opportunities arise.

The Central Government of China is focused on growing sustainably and there’s a need for clean tech, green tech, software solutions, governance and consulting support and innovations, sustainable products and services, particularly those geared at children and seniors, and even craft beer.

Mayor Helps, Councillor Lucas and designates from Victoria conducted several appointments over the week-long trip to China. View the presentationabout the trip, including information for Victoria-based businesses interesting in exporting goods or services to China.
