Book an Event at City Hall
Victoria City Hall is open to the public.
City Hall, a unique heritage building in downtown Victoria, is a resource for citizens to access information and services. Members of the public can book spaces in City Hall for meetings and events. All events must conform to the Public Use of City Hall Policy.
The event must be non-commercial, and the requesting organization must be one whose mandate and activities will not discriminate against any individual or group as outlined in the BC Human Rights Code. Commercial activities, registered political parties, or public rallies are not permitted to rent space inside City Hall.
Acceptable events might include:
- Community group meetings
- Non-profit events
- Arts and culture related events
- Documentary screenings
- Private weddings
Other uses will be considered. A fee of $150 will be charged for private weddings; all other events will be charged on a cost recovery basis only. No rental fees will apply.
Room bookings are available in Council Chambers, Antechamber, Songhees and Esquimalt Meetings Rooms, and Douglas Street entrance foyer to City Hall. All bookings are subject to availability.
