Collection Update

The way we collect from your street has changed. We used to collect from both sides of the street at the same time.  With the larger trucks, we now go up one side of the street, collecting both bins from each property.  We do the full length of one side of the street and then come back down the other side of the street.  Please don't worry if you see the trucks go by and your bins aren't immediately collected.  The trucks will return to empty your bins when they come back down the other side of the street.

 As we adapt to the new system, please be advised that our crews will be out collecting kitchen scraps and garbage until 5:30 p.m.  most days.  If your bins were not emptied on your collection day, please call 250.361.0405 the following morning and arrangements will be made to empty your bins.  Thank you for your patience, it is greatly appreciated!

Small Truck Route

We have now completed  the development of the new Small Truck Route.  If you live on a smaller  street or your property is hard to access, you will have received a letter explaining that you are now on this route.  The collection schedule information has now been updated in our collection day reminder program, so please enter your address in the box above.  You can now download your updated collection schedule or sign up for collection day reminders.  There are approximately 200 homes on this new route.
