Surveying & Mapping

The City's Assets and Infrastructure section is responsible for the acquisition and maintenance of information related to both infrastructure and land in Victoria.

This information is distributed to external and internal groups to support the City of Victoria's business processes and services.
 

Upon request, mapping data may be provided to Consultants, Engineers, Architects and Utility Companies doing work within the City of Victoria. The fee for this data is based on the following structure:

  • Site Servicing Plans: $25 + HST
  • Other Digital Data (DXF format): $25 base fee plus $0.50/Kb + HST.

The Assets and Infrastructure Section provides accurate and comprehensive infrastructure and mapping information for the City of Victoria and is responsible for the development and implementation of related GIS and Asset Management tools.

Information Request

To obtain digital information you can submit your request by filling in our Digital Mapping Information Request Form [PDF - 152 KB] and either printing and faxing it to the Assets and Infrastructure Section at 250.361.0311 or by simply hitting the "Submit Form" button to have it emailed directly. The cost of the data and a time estimate to complete the request will then be returned to the applicant by either fax or email.
