City Building Permit Circulation Process

Your completed application will be circulated for review to those departments that must approve your plans before a permit can be issued.

Each of these departments may have requirements which must be met by you at various stages of the project. If staff require additional information or clarification when reviewing your application, you will be contacted. Any required revisions must then be submitted to the Permit and Inspections Clerk to be added to the circulating plans.

In addition, Home Protection Office approval may be required before a permit may be issued. For further information, please see www.hpo.bc.ca or contact 1.800.407.7757.
