Upgrades to Alexander Park Playground
Alexander Park playground is 612 square metres in size and is located at 1325 Bay Street, between Fernwood Road and Oregon Avenue. The playground provides play opportunities for children ages 18 months to 12 years.
This year, the City of Victoria is upgrading the play equipment to meet national safety standards and to better meet the needs of the community.
Thank you to the families and daycare providers who attended the open house on February 19 at the Fernwood Community Centre NRG. Participants had the opportunity to view display panels and place stickers next to their favourite play equipment, draw or design their ideas for the playground with play-dough, meet City Parks planners and complete a short survey.
This fact sheet [PDF - 219 KB] about the playground open house was mailed to the community in early February.
