Hazards and Risks

Victoria is vulnerable to a variety of hazards; some are more likely than others and each has a different level of risk associated with it.

The table below presents a snapshot of the possibilities and the likelihood of each hazard occurring. Bear in mind that regardless of the likelihood of each hazard, even if it’s low, the impact can be enormous, which is why preparedness is so important.
