2012 Climate Action CARIP Interim Report Now Available

Are you interested in learning about what the City of Victoria is doing to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in our own municipal operations and in the community?
The following report includes actions that were completed in 2012 and actions that are planned for 2013.

The CARIP Public Report includes:
- The City's 2012 climate action accomplishments for reducing greenhouse gases in its own municipal operations and across the community. The listed actions include broader policy and planning initiatives as well as direct actions taken during the year to reduce greenhouse gases.
- The City's 2013 planned actions for reducing greenhouse gases in its own municipal operations and across the community. These planned actions include both broad policy and planning initiatives as well as direct actions planned for 2013 to reduce greenhouse gases
The final CARIP Public Report, to be made publicly available before June 1, 2013, will include the City's Corporate greenhouse gas inventory and satisfy the requirements for reporting on the City's carbon neutral progress. The energy consumption data required to report on the City's corporate greenhouse gas inventory is currently being compiled and analyzed.
