As a VEMA volunteer, you are part of the action, whether it's participating in search and rescue, assisting evacuees, providing first aid or radio communications support, or working in our Emergency Operation Centre. You can also play an important role in educating the community on what it will take to cope for three days or more in the event of a disaster. Our new cyclist response team may be able to access roads, pathways and bridges that vehicles can't, to help move people, information and materials from one location to another. Learn more.
