Update on Utility Replacement Near Johnson Street Bridge
February 5, 2014Crews will install a new water main at Harbour Road and Esquimalt on Tuesday, February 11 from 9 p.m. until Wednesday, February 12 at 1 a.m. This may cause temporary low water pressure and water discolouration for residents and businesses in the Victoria West area. If you notice any water discolouration, please runs your faucet for a few moments until the water runs clear.
Work to replace the water mains on Esquimalt Road at Tyee Road and Harbour Road will be complete by the end of day Friday, February 14. Work to replace the utilities along Wharf and Store Street will be complete by the end of February. The 100-year-old water, sewer, and stormwater pipes are being replaced in advance of new roads that will be built for the new Johnson Street Bridge. Thank you for your continued patience as crew complete these important upgrades.
