Centennial Square Parkade Elevator Out of Service April 13 - May 15
April 10, 2015
To accommodate maintenance, the Centennial Square Parkade elevator will be out of service for approximately five weeks, from Monday, April 13 to Friday, May 15. The work will improve the elevator’s operations/reliability and aesthetics, enhancing customer service in the parkade.
The parkade stairwell will be accessible at all times. Signs will be posted.
For those who have difficulty using stairs, the City is offering a free shuttle van service to customers 24/7 during the work, to transport them from an elevator foyer to street level, and back to their vehicles. Customers who “need a lift” can call the Centennial Square Parkade SafeWalk phone number at 250.880.0683 to arrange for a complimentary pick-up.
Alternate parking with elevator service is available at the City’s four other parkades: Johnson Street Parkade (750 Johnson Street); Bastion Square Parkade (575 Yates Street); View Street Parkade (743 View Street); and Broughton Street Parkade (745 Broughton Street below the Central Library).
At City parkades, the first hour is automatically free, with free evening parking from 6 p.m. – 8 a.m. Monday to Saturday, and free parking all day Sundays and holidays. City parkades are open 24 hours, seven days a week. Click here for more information.Go to Top
