Developing a New Strategic Plan

In January and February, City Council will complete its strategic planning process. The objective is to develop a concrete plan with clear deliverables that will guide the decisions of the municipality over the next four years.

The City of Victoria’s strategic planning process will take place prior to the development of its Financial Plan to enable Council to develop strategic priorities that will be used to guide financial planning and Council’s consideration of the proposed 2015 Budget.

Once in place, the Strategic Plan will inform the City’s financial and operational plans, and will be used as the reference point for assessing operational performance.
