Renew Your Business Licence for 2015

Victoria business owners are reminded they have until Sunday, February 15 to renew their business licence and avoid paying the $25 late fee for being 31 days past due.

Municipalities use Business Licences to promote accountability, enable tracking for economic development, and standardize expectations. All businesses must have a valid licence to legally operate in the City of Victoria. After February 15, a late fee of $25 will apply to all expired business licences and must be paid in order for a 2015 licence to be issued. Operating a business without a valid licence may result in a fine of $250 per day, increasing up to $2000 per day if charged with a bylaw offence.
