June 4, 2016
The City of Victoria invites you to enjoy the 14th Annual Father’s Day Céilidh in the Park on Sunday, June 19, 2016, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Cameron Bandshell in Beacon Hill Park.
“Céilidh” (pronounced ‘kay-lee’) is the Gaelic word for an informal gathering of Celtic music, dance and storytelling. A Céilidh or “kitchen party” brings people together like nothing else! Get your family’s feet tapping to live music performances by Crikey Mor, Sea Star, and Knacker’s Yard. Hosted by Jo-Ann Roberts, the celebration will include performances by the award-winning O'Brien School of Irish Dance.
