Expect Road Closures for Tour de Victoria on Sunday, August 21

Ryder Hesjedal’s Tour de Victoria is a mass-participation cycling event taking place on Sunday, August 21. Riders of all fitness levels can participate in one of three routes in and around Greater Victoria.

Ryder Hesjedal’s Tour de Victoria is produced by the Ryder’s Cycling Society of Canada, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting cycling across the country. For more information visit Tour de Victoria.

Road Closures on Sunday, August 21:

  • 4 a.m. to 6 p.m. Belleville Street between Government Street and the Coho Ferry Driveway, and Menzies Street from Belleville to Quebec Street
  • 6:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Government Street between Belleville Street & Gorge Road
  • 10:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Belleville Street between Coho Ferry Driveway and Pendray Street. Government St. will reopen after riders have left this area (approximately 7:15 a.m.)

The races will be finished by 4 p.m. and Belleville Street is expected to reopen no later than 6 p.m.

Road closure signage will be posted for businesses and residents. Police will direct traffic where necessary.
