Pop-up Park in Centennial Square!

Stop by Centennial Square on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for  games, crafts, food trucks, and more!

The City’s ‘Pop-up Park’ will be a place for people of all ages to come together to plan the future of Victoria’s parks

On both days, there will be painting and crafts for kids, all-ages games including a golf challenge, inflatable basketball and lawn games. Hungry Rooster and DeadBeetz food trucks will be onsite.

On Friday, the community is invited to participate in free boot camp and Zumba classes from noon to 1 p.m. On Saturday, the Pop-up Park will be accompanied by an open house at the McPherson Playhouse for the public to learn about and provide feedback on the draft plan for Victoria’s parks.

The City is developing a Parks and Open Spaces Master Plan with the community to guide improvements to Victoria's 137 parks and open spaces over the next 25 years. We are seeking the community’s feedback on the proposed goals and actions in the draft plan. The public can also provide input through an online survey, available until Monday, December 5, 2016.
