Locating in Victoria > Local Government

The City of Victoria is one of thirteen municipalities of the Capital Regional District (CRD) which covers over 2,400 square kilometres stretching from Sooke to Galiano Island. The CRD is a regional government that serves four electoral areas as well as the thirteen municipalities. These local governments work together through the CRD to provide and coordinate services in both urban and rural areas.
