• To regulate and supervise professional boxing and wrestling contests and like activities, contests and exhibitions.
• In addition to any other tax or fee payable under the Local Government Act, it is for the purpose of providing funds for the Commission's proper expenses, to require persons conducting such contests or exhibitions to pay to the Commission a fee, equal to two cents for each seat made available to the public.
• Anyone wishing to hold a boxing or wrestling event must have the approval of the Commission and must pay a licence fee of $100.00. In addition, boxers and officials have to be licensed through the Commission.
