2008 Park Upgrades

Below is a list of parks that were improved in 2008.

Barnard Park - Improvements included the installation of a new engineered, wood-fibre safety surface, new swings and a slide.

Hillside Park - Public meetings were held in 2008 to determine what the community would like to see improved at this park. Upgrades in the fall consisted of new play equipment, park furnishings, wood fibre surfacing and a drinking fountain.

Mason Street Park - A continuation of major improvements undertaken in 2007, upgrades consisted of new play equipment, a replacement picnic table and benches. The park now has a new pickle ball court (a combination of tennis and badminton), bocce ball area, new pathway lighting and an asphalt perimeter path. New trees were planted in the fall.

Wesley Park - A continuation of major improvements initiated in 2007, upgrades consisted of new play equipment and park furnishings. An asphalt path was also replaced and new park lights were installed.
