Only residential tree and shrub branches will be picked up at the curb. How to Set Out Branch Piles at the Curb Below are tips for preparing branch piles for curb-side pick-up:
Note: City trucks only make one pass down a street. If a return trip is required, a fee of $40 will be charged per household's request. Items Not Accepted Items not accepted include: ivy clippings, blackberry canes, morning glory, garden refuse, compost, lawn clippings, loose leaves, soil, rocks, roots, stumps, construction lumber or branch material more than 50 millimetres (2 inches) in diameter, or material from commercial tree contractors Garden Waste Drop-Off Victoria residents can also drop off their garden waste for free, year-round at the City of Victoria Public Works Yard, 417 Garbally Road, Saturdays, from 7 a.m. - 2 p.m. Proof of residency is required.
