City of Victoria - Memorial Bench Program

Bench cost $2,500 for a period of 10 years
$500 for maintenance agreement for an additional 10 years
Total commitment of the City is 20 years (if extra 10 years chosen). At the end of that time the plaque will be removed and the bench will be made available to another family
Program works with existing benches and does not install new benches. Existing benches will be completely rebuilt with new boards, painted, and plaque attached
Program extends only to existing benches in Park areas within the City of Victoria boundaries
Other items such as memorial trees, picnic benches and other items available for donation through the Parks and Recreation Foundation
