Accessing City Permit Records
Notice to Applicants for PermitsTo help us provide better service:
The inspectors are generally in the office from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. for phone calls and counter services, and there is one inspector on a rotational basis available from 1 p.m. to 2pm every day for counter services. Outside of these hours, you are best to email your requests or questions with the details and your phone number. Staff are connected by blackberry outside the office and can return your emails or phone from the field. If you leave a voice mail on their office phone, they may not check this until the next business day when they are back in the office. If you have an inquiry for permits that are not assigned specif ically, or you just want to check the status of your permit, you may phone 250.361.0342 or E-mail Permits. For permits of new Part 3 buildings, you may contact Darrell Saby to set up an intake appointment to ensure the application package is as completed as needed to start the plan checking without unnecessary delays.
