Legislative Services manages the flow of reports, agendas and minutes for Council and Committee of the Whole (COTW), provides secretarial support to Council and COTW, prepares and distributes official communications on behalf of Council, administers the City Advisory Committee selection and appointment process and administers civic elections.

The Corporate Administrator is responsible for Legislative Services, Archives & Records and the City's Print Shop. The Corporate Administrator is also responsible for managing the City's liquor licence application process, for contact with the Provincial Ombudsman and the Head of the City of Victoria under the Freedom of Information & Protection of Privacy Act.
