Municipal By-Election 2020
The Municipal By-Election will be held on April 4, 2020.
In April 2020, voters in the municipal by-election in Victoria will elect:

Candidates Nomination Package:
The nomination period for candidates wishing to run in Victoria’s 2020 By-Election opened Tuesday, February 18 at 9 a.m. and will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2020.
Voters in Victoria will vote to elect one Councillor. The position became vacant when Laurel Collins resigned from Victoria City Council in November 2019 following her election to the House of Commons as Member of Parliament for Victoria.
Prospective candidates can pick up a nomination package in person at the Legislative Services Office at Victoria City Hall, #1 Centennial Square weekdays from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. or can access it above.
Completed nomination packages are to be filed in person at City Hall during the nomination period. Only eligible candidates who have filed their papers by the close of nomination will be included on the ballot.
