Weddings at City Hall

Looking for a unique space to hold your wedding?

Our heritage City Hall building is open for weddings four days a year!

The following dates have been set for weddings:

  • In 2018: February 9, June 8, September 14 and December 14
  • In 2019: February 8, June 7, September 20 and December 20

We offer three ceremonies on each date, at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Ceremonies include a one-hour rental of Council Chambers, with seating for guests as needed. The room rental fee is $150 and is due and payable at the time of the booking. Payment can be made in person at the Public Service Counter located on the main floor or by credit card over the phone by calling 250.385.5711.

Couples are responsible to book their own marriage Commissioner and obtain a licence. Bookings will be subject to availability. Find out more about how to get married in British Columbia, including information on marriage licencing, registration, and booking a Commissioner.
