Weddings at City Hall
Until further notice we are unable to host weddings ceremonies at City Hall. We can still process applications for future weddings ceremonies: however, a timeline for when weddings can resume at City Hall has yet to be determined. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.

Our heritage City Hall building is open for weddings four days a year!
The following dates have been set for weddings:
- In 2020: February 14, June 12 CANCELLED, September 18 and December 18
- In 2021: February 19, June 18, September 17 and December 17
We offer three ceremonies on each date, at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Ceremonies include a one-hour rental of Council Chambers, with seating for guests as needed. The room rental fee of $150 is payable at the time of the booking. Payment can be made in person at the Public Service Counter in City Hall, or by credit card over the phone by calling 250.385.5711.
Couples are responsible to book their own marriage Commissioner and obtain a licence. Bookings will be subject to availability. Find out more about how to get married in British Columbia, including information on marriage licencing, registration, and booking a Commissioner.
