Hanukkah Begins Sunday

At sunset on Sunday, December 18, we welcome the start of Hanukkah – the Festival of Lights – which runs until Monday, December 26.

We mark this day together as a community to highlight the strength of diversity and the power of light to illuminate darkness. Hanukkah sameach! Happy Hanukkah!

Menorah Lighting in Centennial Square

The community is invited to join Congregation Emanu-El on Thursday, December 22 from 5 - 6 p.m. in Centennial Square for an evening of joy, music and to light one of B.C.’s largest Hanukkah menorahs.

The Food Bank at St. John the Divine will be on-site collecting donations of non-perishable food and hygiene items. Learn more.
