Victoria Day Parade and Weekend Concerts

Celebrate Victoria Day in British Columbia’s beautiful capital city! 

Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22

Enjoy live performances in front of the Parliament Buildings on Saturday and Sunday from noon - 5 p.m., hosted by the Greater Victoria Festival Society. Learn more.

Monday, May 23

Celebrate Victoria Day at the Thrifty Foods 122nd Victoria Day Parade presented by CHEK TV on Monday, May 23 starting at 9 a.m. The parade will begin at Finlayson and Douglas and continue along Douglas, finishing at Courtney.

Hosted by the Greater Victoria Festival Society, the Parade is FREE and FUN for the entire family! The world-class event will showcase our diverse cultures and celebrate our frontline workers from various business and non-profit organizations. 

Following the Parade, head over to Centennial Square for Gordy Dodd’s One World Musicfest which will take place from noon - 5 p.m. with food, fun, local vendors and cultural performances.


Parking will be FREE at City Parkades and at on-street meters on Monday, May 23 for Victoria Day. Parking is also free on Sundays at City parkades. On-street parking will not be available along the Parade route on Monday. Consider walking, cycling or taking BC Transit downtown. Please arrive early as the Parade is extremely popular!
