Wicked Victoria: What You Need to Know

Join the Government Street Partner Merchants and the Greater Victoria Festival Society for Wicked Victoria, a free, festive, pedestrian only, family event. Costumes are encouraged.  Join in for the live entertainment, games, kids and animal costume contest and a Wicked Kids Zone. 
 

Date: Sunday, October 30 
Time: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. 
Location: Government Street, between Broughton and Yates 
 
How to Get There: 
Consider hopping on the bus, walking downtown or riding your bike. The City of Victoria’s free Bike Valet will be open from 10 a.m.- 6:30 p.m. on Pandora Avenue, at City Hall. 

Please note that the following road closures will be in effect from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. 

- The normal Government Street closure (between Broughton and Yates) will be in effect from 8 a.m., which is earlier than usual. 

- View Street will be closed to vehicles between Government and Broad. 

- Yates, Fort, and Broughton streets will remain open to vehicles, with intersections managed by event volunteers and the Victoria Police Department.
