Trees in Cities Challenge

Victoria has signed on to the Trees in Cities Challenge which is a global campaign launched by the United Nations to promote climate action in cities. Trees play a vital role in both climate change mitigation and adaptation. The City of Victoria is working with the community to plant 5,000 trees on public and private land. Help grow a brighter future for our community by joining the Trees in Cities Challenge and planting trees in your neighbourhood. To learn more about how you can get involved, check out our Trees in Cities Challenge page.

CRD Climate Action To-Go Kits

The Capital Regional District (CRD) has created Climate Action To-Go Kits which provide tools and activities to help you take action on climate change at home. To find out where you can pick up a kit, check out the CRD’s Climate Action To Go Kit page.
