Rockland has just one small neighbourhood park on Terrace Avenue, but the landscape throughout the neighbourhood is beautiful and well-tended. Institutions in the neighbourhood such as the Craigdarroch Castle and Government House provide abundant green space within walking distance. Rockland also has a little green space at the North junction of Joan Crescent and Craigdarroch Road called the Rockland Woodland Garden. It is a special project of the Rockland Neighbourhood Association. Total park space for the neighbourhood is 13.4 hectares.
