The City of Victoria maintains two bridges – the Johnson Street Bridge and Point Ellice Bridge.

The Point Ellice (Bay Street) Bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic in the eastbound direction (towards downtown) starting Tuesday, May 21 until approximately the end of October. The closure is necessary to safely complete comprehensive upgrades to the bridge to ensure it serves the community for decades to come.
The new Johnson Street Bridge was opened to the public on March 31, 2018. To learn more about the new bridge, visit the project website.
