Walk, Roll & Transit

Victoria is a city on the move and more people continue to choose sustainable transportation to get around.

Walking, wheeling, rolling, and taking public transit are all examples of sustainable transportation choices that contribute to happier, healthier, and more vibrant communities.

Whether you who walk, bike, roll, or drive, remember that the route ahead is shared. Everyone is encouraged to:

  • Know the right of way – Make sure to yield to other road users when appropriate.
  • Keep a safe distance – Give other road users space to move safely.
  • Focus on the road – Watch for others on the route ahead.
  • Follow the rules of the road – Mind the rules of the Motor Vehicle Act when on the go. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.

Check out more tips for all road users and take our road safety quiz for a chance to WIN!
