Warmer weather means busier neighbourhood bikeways and multi-use pathways. If you are walking, wheeling, rolling or taking transit, remember to:

  • Expect more people out on the road and watch for new riders, including tourists, seniors, and children
  • Slow down and keep your distance from others to ensure everyone gets where they need to go safely
  • Know the right of way- make sure to yield to others when appropriate
  • Follow the rules of the road- Know what is expected under the Motor Vehicle Act
