DVBA Ferris Wheel in Centennial Square
December 9, 2013Bring the family downtown to view Victoria from 20 metres up on the DVBA Ferris Wheel in Centennial Square. Rides are $2. The DVBA Ferris wheel will run until December 22, Fridays from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m., Saturdays from noon - 10 p.m., and Sundays from noon - 8 p.m.
Enjoy the more than 75,000 festive LED lights in Centennial Square. Use your voice or bring an instrument and watch the special audio-reactive lights transform the large cherry tree in Centennial Square into a magical holiday display. Over 700 special lights will twinkle and change colour in response to sound.
This holiday season, Centennial Square will also feature:
- Local performers on Spirit Stage
- Wannawafel and The Reef food trucks (dates to be confirmed)
- Pop-Up Holiday Market (located under the City Hall arches starting November 29)
- Custom photo backdrop designed by well-known local artist Steve Milroy

On Saturday, November 30 and December 7, 14 and 21, from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., the first hour of parking will be automatically free at the City's five parkades courtesy of the DVBA. On Sundays and Statutory Holidays, parking is free at on-street meters and City parkades.
