Lunchtime Concerts in the Square
Join us Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon to 1 p.m. from July 3 to September 6 to enjoy live music at Lunchtime Concerts in the Square. Bring your lunch and some sunscreen and soak up the tunes. From folk, world beat and jazz to swing and blues, there’s something for everyone. (RIGHT: Downtown Mischief performing.) Eventide Music Series
The Eventide Music Series offers live music in Centennial Square every Thursday night from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. from July 5 to August 23. The series features an eclectic mix of independent local and visiting musicians and artists. Themed nights range from folk, pop, indie-rock to hip-hop, funk, punk, electronic and experimental.

Food trucks and a licensed beverage area complement these all-ages outdoor concerts in Centennial Square. The Eventide Music Series is presented by the City of Victoria in partnership with CFUV Community Campus Radio, with support from the Downtown Victoria Business Association.
Crafternoons in the Square
Join us for hands-on Crafternoons in the Square to learn how to create a beautiful fresh floral crown. All supplies are provided in addition to a complimentary sparkling water and a sweet treat. Crafternoons are held every second Tuesday on July 10, August 14 and September 11 from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
Board Games in the Square
Drop by the Square to play giant-size chess and scrabble every Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. until September 2. Hosted by the Victoria Junior Chess Society.
Learn the Argentine Tango with a beginner lesson followed by a social dance on Saturday, July 28 and Saturday, August 25 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. with Alive Tango Victoria.
Learn Salsa and Tango from professional instructors, followed by a social dance on Sundays, July 22, and August 5, 19 and 26 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. to live music performances and DJ selections, hosted by DJ Moises. No dance experience necessary.
Ballroom Dancing in the Square
The Victoria Ballroom Dance Society presents Ballroom Dancing in the Square on Mondays, July 9, 16, 23, 30 and August 6, 13 and 20 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Learn different dances and then put your new steps to the test in the group dance following each lesson.

Concerts in the Park Series
Join us Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 1:30 p.m. to 3:20 p.m. until September 3 (excluding July 1 and 2) for afternoon Concerts in the Park. Spread out a picnic blanket on the lawn or relax on bench seating while enjoying the performances. Whether you like jazz or blues, or classical or swing, there’s something for everyone. Folk Music Evening Series
Returning for its third year, the Folk Music Evening Series takes place on Tuesdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. until August 21. This music series focuses on the wide genre of folk music, from traditional to fusion and contemporary. Each Tuesday will feature two different Canadian bands. View event listings.
On Wednesdays from July 11 to August 22 from 11 a.m. to noon, the Cameron Bandshell will feature a children’s show, ranging from stories and magic to puppets and pirates. Bring the sunscreen, a picnic and get ready to laugh! View event listings.
Dancing in the Park
Come with or without a partner and get ready to dance at a free social dance in Beacon Hill Park on Sundays, July 8 to August 26 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. with Alive Tango Victoria.
