The Future of Co-op Housing: Town Hall Meeting

The City of Victoria and Co-operative Housing Federation of BC invite you to join us for a town hall meeting on the future of co-operative housing:

The Future of Co-op Housing – Town Hall Meeting
Wednesday, November 28, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Victoria City Hall – Council Chambers (1 Centennial Square)

About the meeting:
It's been decades since new co-op housing has been built in the City of Victoria and the Capital Region. What role can the co-operative housing model play in the expansion of non-market housing in Victoria and the Capital Region? What benefits do co-ops offer over rental housing and private housing? What partnership are happening in BC and beyond to expand access to co-op housing and help build inclusive communities?

The meeting will include speakers from the Co-operative Housing Federation of BC and individuals who live in co-op housing. We look forward to having you join us to discuss and share perspectives on the future of co-operative housing for the region.

This meeting will be webcast for those who are unable to attend. You can view the webcast here beginning Wednesday at 7 p.m.
