Join us for guest lecturer Marc Spencer, from Public Safety at BC Hydro, who will speak at the Lunch & Learn "Preparing for Winter Storm Season: Electrical Dangers, Mitigation and Response" on Wednesday, November 27 from noon - 1 p.m. in the City Hall Antechamber.

The free presentation will cover the BC Hydro electrical system, step potential and touch potential, and how to respond to an electrical incident.

About Marc Spencer
Marc works in Public Safety at BC Hydro with a goal of keeping people safe from electrical hazards. He provides resources and training programs for first responders and trade groups and is involved in some key safety processes such as 30M33 and BC One Call. He also investigates public incidents and situations where the public are at risk.

Marc started with BC Hydro in 1981 and worked in Customer Service and Design before completing an apprenticeship and working for 20 years as a Control Room Operator.
