The City of Victoria is hosting three Accessibility Focus Group sessions for people to share their lived experiences on July 10 and 11.

We want to connect with individuals, organizations and groups in our community to gather a variety of perspectives, experiences and ideas.

Your stories, suggestions and priorities will help us better understand the barriers and opportunities to making our community a more inclusive place to live, work, visit and play.

The outcomes, topics and ideas generated at this session will contribute to the development of a new city-wide Accessibility Framework.

The Focus Groups are open to:

  • People with cognitive, emotional or intellectual disabilities
  • People with auditory impairments
  • People with visual impairments
  • People with limited mobility
  • People who require service or support animals
  • People with environmental sensitivities
  • Caregivers and service providers
