Your City. Your Voice. Share Your Ideas on the City's Draft Budget and Strategic Plan

We’re seeking your input on the City of Victoria’s 2019 Draft Financial Plan and 2019 – 2022 Draft Strategic Plan.

There are three upcoming opportunities for you to help set City priorities over the next four years.

Join us for a Budget Town Hall on January 16, the Strategic Plan Engagement Summit on January 19, and fill out the online survey before it closes on January 20.

City Council has given preliminary approval to the 2019 Draft Financial Plan and is looking for your input before finalizing the budget in early February. Join us at the City of Victoria’s Budget Town Hall to ask questions and give feedback, or watch the live webcast and participate online.

The City’s budget determines levels of funding for transportation, development, parks and recreation, and other important services that impact everyday life. The proposed 2019 operating budget totals $244.7 million and the draft capital budget totals $118 million. Learn more.

Online Survey 

How the City invests tax dollars is one of the most important decisions in the community each year. 

Help provide direction on the City’s draft Financial Plan and draft Strategic Plan by completing an online survey by January 20, 2019.

Victoria City Council will consider the draft plans and all public input received, in early February.
