Canada Day - What You Need to Know

Today at City Hall, we are flying the flag designed by the late Curtis Wilson of the Wei Wai Kum First Nation near Campbell River. It features a design with swimming salmon on the sides and an orca inside a maple leaf. The flag is flying at half mast as we continue to grieve with the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations and all Indigenous people. This evening, City Hall will also be lit up in orange.
