Commercial Alley Outdoor Art Gallery Features Artwork by Evan Locke

The Commercial Alley art gallery launched its ninth installation, showcasing artwork by local artist, Evan Locke.

Evan’s project, "Proximate Approximate” is a series of 1:1 stamp-like impressions mirroring the alley wall immediately opposite of each panel. His work portrays the fictitious result of the walls of the alley coming together and touching, leaving the depicted impressions.

Located between the 500 Block of Yates and Bastion Square, the outdoor gallery allows for four, 1.2-metre x 2.4-metre panels, showcasing a temporary art installation by local artists to add colour and vitality to the area.
