The City of Victoria's fitness and aquatics centre is located at 2275 Quadra Street. Crystal Pool and Fitness Centre provides a wide range of recreation services and amenities for people of all ages, interests and fitness levels.

Recreation services are moving to the City’s interim recreation facility at 851 Broughton St.
The interim facility, Victoria Recreation Centre, will provide continued access to recreation services while the permanent replacement facility is being built.
Repairs and upgrades are underway to prepare the facility for City use, with an opening planned for early 2027.
Victoria Recreation Centre will feature expanded fitness areas, group fitness rooms, a gymnasium and squash courts and limited swimming due to the pool’s smaller size.
Please allow two to three weeks for refund processing.
All locker rental terms will end on September 11.
Credits will be applied to your account for any unused rental time.
Locker use from September 11-25 will be available at no additional cost to allow time to remove personal belongings before the facility closes.
Please ensure your locker is completely emptied by September 25.
Any items remaining in lockers after September 25 will be removed as part of the facility closure process.
This September, we're offering a variety of condensed programs for the final month at Crystal Pool including adult health and wellness classes, Island Swimming club lessons, guided outdoor recreation and creative arts programs.
Arena programs, including skating lessons and drop-in public skating will continue this fall following the closure of Crystal Pool.
All personal training sessions will remain on patron accounts and may be used at Victoria Recreation Centre once it opens.

The City of Victoria’s Leisure Involvement For Everyone (L.I.F.E.) program improves access to recreation services and programs for individuals and families living on a low income.

Can I visit other regional recreation centres after Crystal Pool closes?
Yes. Eligible participants may continue to use their 52 free drop-in visits at participating regional recreation centres. Please ensure your 52-visit sticker is current by checking the end date printed on it.
What if my sticker is expired? How do I get a new sticker?
Visit the Crystal Pool Front Desk before September 25 to request a current year new sticker.

LI.F.E. Credits
L.I.F.E. credits are provided for the full two-year term.
Credits may be used toward registration fees at Victoria Recreation Centre, as well as community and seniors centres within the city.
For other municipal services, including dog licences, extra garbage tags and compost bags, please visit the public service centre at Victoria City Hall.

Regional passes are issued on an annual basis only — no refunds or cancellations. Please note: Children five years old and under are free.

The Regional Recreation Pass is an annual pass that allows drop-in to 14 Greater Victoria recreation centres. LIFE Passes are available for eligible low-income individuals and families. Amenities
Crystal Pool and Fitness Centre features a 50-metre pool, two warm pools, a 160-foot waterslide, sauna, steam room and a hot tub.
Crystal Pool and Fitness Centre has three separate training areas including two weight rooms and a fitness loft for drop-in use. The fitness centre offers a variety of cardio and weight training equipment including weight machines and free weight options. During your visit, you will have access to the weight room, fit pit, fitness loft and various cardio equipment around the mezzanine. Drop-in fitness classes are available to public and included with purchase of a membership. The drop-in fitness schedule is posted above.
The fitness centre's knowledgeable, positive and professional trainers will work with you to design a custom program to help you reach your fitness goals. To purchase a package, contact the Crystal Pool and Fitness Centre at 250.361.0732.
Safety and respect is everyone’s responsibility. The City of Victoria is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Abusive, disrespectful, threatening or violent language or actions by anyone will not be tolerated. Any behavior or action deemed to violate the Code of Conduct may lead to disciplinary action including verbal or written warnings, access restrictions or loss of facility access.
If you wish to withdraw from a program it must be done before the second class for a prorated refund or credit to be issued. After the second class, refunds will only be issued for illness or compassionate reasons and must be approved by a programmer. One or two-day programs require 72 hours’ notice before program start to request a refund or credit. All camps require seven days’ notice in order to receive a refund or credit.
