Parking Ticket Review

If you wish to have a City of Victoria parking ticket reviewed, please complete the Parking Ticket Review Form below within 14 days from when your ticket was issued. You can do this online, by mail, or in person.

Review Your Parking Ticket Online

Save yourself a trip to City Hall and have your parking ticket reviewed online using the fillable and savable form below and attaching any supporting documentation.

Supporting documentation can include photos, proof of payment such as a receipt or credit card statement, or insurance documents if related to a residential complaint.

If parking was paid for using the ParkVictoria App, documentation could include a photo of your parking history information.

How to Complete the Online Form

1. Click on the above link.
2. Type your information directly in the online form.
3. You may submit two photos by using the browsing button. Then click the submit button at the bottom of the online form.

By Mail or in Person

You can also complete this fillable Parking Ticket Review Form [PDF - 39 KB], or print and write in the information, and submit it with any supporting documentation by mail or in person.

Drop off in person: Public Service Centre at Victoria City Hall, weekdays from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Response Time

Please allow up to ten business days for the parking ticket review. The amount owing will remain on hold until the review process is completed. Please note a paid ticket or a ticket in collections cannot be reviewed.

Adjudication

If you disagree with the outcome of the review, you can proceed to adjudication. The adjudication process involves a secondary review of your parking ticket at a scheduled hearing at City Hall by a City of Victoria representative and an independent adjudicator who is assigned by the Province of British Columbia.
