CRD Trestles, Trails and Lighting Improvements

The Capital Regional District is upgrading key sections of the Galloping Goose Trail to improve safety, comfort and accessibility. Work includes trestle resurfacing, pathway widening and new lighting.

Japanese Canadian Monument Park

The Province of B.C. is building a monument park and Japanese garden to acknowledge Japanese Canadian internment and honour those who were wrongly displaced in the 1940s.

Johnson Manor Recovery Housing

The Victoria Cool Aid Society, BC Housing and the City of Victoria are partnering to renovate an existing building to introduce 20 new recovery-oriented housing units for people who have completed early-stage recovery.

926/930 Pandora Avenue

BC Housing is building 205 supportive and affordable rental homes at 926/930 Pandora Avenue in partnership with the City of Victoria and the Capital Region Housing Corporation. The building also includes a 16,000 sq. ft. community space.
