Recreation services are essential to active, healthy and connected communities, and contribute enormously to Victoria’s vibrancy and resiliency.
Register for Fall Programs
Our most popular recreation programs are back this fall. Get back to high-intensity fitness classes, join a boot camp, or try small group personal training. For kids, choose from piano, swim lessons, youth nights, babysitter training and more. Plus, public skating and lessons are back this fall at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
View the flyers and find the program that's right for you.
Crystal Pool and Fitness Centre
The City of Victoria's fitness and aquatics centre is located at 2775 Quadra Street. Enjoy our 50-metre pool, two warm pools, 160-foot water slide, hot tub, weight room, cardio area and more.
Our priority is safety and all COVID-19 protocols are in place to help you stay safe while you stay active.
Drop-ins are back this fall at the Crystal Pool and Fitness Centre. You can come for a swim or use the fitness centre without booking ahead. Annual, monthly, and 10-punch pass options are also now available.
View the pool and fitness schedules and learn more about passes on the Crystal Pool page.
By Order of the Provincial Health Officer, masks are currently required for people age five and older in indoor public settings, regardless of vaccination status. Masks are required in common areas of recreation and fitness centres when not engaged in physical activity. Exceptions include people with an underlying medical condition or disability which inhibits their ability to wear a face covering. Learn more.
Royal Athletic Park
Drop-in community access and disc golf have resumed at Royal Athletic Park. Come get active and enjoy this large grass field in the heart of Victoria.
Check the Royal Athletic Park page for more information and view the summer 2021 activity schedule.
Sports Fields and Courts
Several mixed-use sports fields and tennis and pickleball courts are available throughout Victoria for drop-in use. These outdoor facilities are also available to book. To learn more about booking a sports field or court and to complete and application, please visit our Outdoor Recreation page.
We are following the steps in the provincial Restart Plan to gradually and safely return to activities. We are also following guidance from provincial sports, recreation and health organizations to update our program plans.
Our focus continues to be on the health and safety of our staff and participants and we want to thank everyone for continuing to follow public health recommendations to keep themselves and others safe. As of September 7, 2021, we have returned to drop-in access at the Crystal Pool and Fitness Centre. Thank you for your patience as we roll out updated programs and service delivery plans.
