Help the Melt: Clear Snow & Ice from Sidewalks and Catch Basins

With warmer temperatures in the forecast and snow and ice beginning to melt, the community is asked to check on catch basins fronting their property and help keep them clear to prevent flooding. 

A reminder that residents and businesses are responsible for clearing sidewalks fronting their properties. Please help your neighbours if they are unable to clear ice and snow from their sidewalk. 

City crews are now out clearing catch basins and streets from Priority 3 areas, which include residential roads, parking lots, downtown parking spaces and protected bike lanes. 

We need to work together to keep streets and sidewalks clear and safe.
