The Canadian Masters Road Cycling Championships will host an event in Victoria on Sunday, July 21. Related events will take place in North Saanich and Metchosin.
Where: The Canadian Masters Criterium Championship will take place around the BC Legislature between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Getting to and from the event: There will be full road closures on sections of Belleville Street, Government Street, Superior Street and Menzies Street from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Expect traffic congestion downtown. Signage will be posted in areas where parking is affected. The Clipper and Coho ferries can be accessed via Oswego Street.
Walking, cycling or taking BC Transit to the event is recommended. The free Downtown Victoria Bike Valet will be open. Because it is a Sunday, parking will be free at City parkades.
