During the holiday, City of Victoria facilities will be observing schedule below. Police, fire and those who provide emergency streets and utility services are available 24/7 and they can be reached day or night at 250.361.0400.
Facility Closures on Wednesday, July 1:
- City Hall
- Crystal Pool and Fitness Centre
- Beacon Hill Park maintenance yard
- Public Works yard
- Victoria Conference Centre administration office
Waste Collection
There will be no collection of organics or garbage on July 1. View your regular organics and garbage collection schedule.
Parking
Free parking is in effect at City parkades and on-street meters on Canada Day, July 1. Surface lots remain paid 24/7.

Bike Valet
- City Hall, right off Pandora Avenue between Government and Douglas St. Open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Government Street, between Belleville and Superior St., 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on July 1
