To mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the Canadian flag at Victoria City Hall will be lowered to half-mast on Saturday, September 30.

The flag will fly at half-mast late Friday and raised to full mast on Tuesday morning.

This day provides an opportunity for Canadians to commemorate the history and ongoing trauma caused by residential schools and to honour those who were lost and the survivors, families and communities who continue to grieve and be impacted.
