Canadian Flag at Half-Mast to Mark Day of Mourning

The Canadian flag on all City facilities will be flown at half-mast from sunrise to sunset today to mark the Day of Mourning for Persons Killed or Injured in the Workplace (Workers’ Mourning Day).

This national memorial day gives Canadians an opportunity each year to remember workers killed, disabled or injured in the workplace, and workers afflicted with industrial disease.
